Who we share it with
We use trusted providers who handle data on our behalf, under contract:
- IONOS: website hosting and our business email.
- Google: Google Analytics (website statistics only, with Google signals and advertising features switched off; you can turn it off), reCAPTCHA spam protection, and address lookup on the EV quote form (Google Maps Places).
- Microsoft: Microsoft Clarity website analytics (with consent).
- Our website support provider: maintains this website and can access form submissions to keep it running.
We also share relevant details with the organisations below, but only where it is necessary for the relevant purpose, and only the details that purpose needs:
- NAPIT, our certification body, when we use its software to issue electrical certificates and notify work.
- Building Control, where the work must be notified under the Building Regulations.
- Your District Network Operator (DNO), for notifications and connection applications, such as for an EV charger.
- EV charger manufacturers, to register your charger’s warranty.
- The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), for grant applications where applicable.
- Subcontractors carrying out part of your job.
We may also share information where the law requires it.
After a job, we may ask you for a review, based on our legitimate interest in showing customer feedback. We either use Checkatrade’s review system, in which case Checkatrade processes your contact details under its own privacy policy, or we email or text you directly with a link to leave a review on Checkatrade or Google.
The person who arranges the work is not always the property owner. It could be a tenant, landlord, letting agent or someone acting on the owner’s behalf. Their details, and the owner’s or occupier’s details, may need to appear on electrical certificates, DNO applications or notifications, and Building Control notifications. If we receive your details this way, we use them only for that job and its certification.
International transfers
Google and Microsoft may process data outside the UK, including in the USA. When they do, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
Keeping it secure
Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and security headers. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it.

You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your information
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, where we no longer need it
- restrict or object to how we use it, including use based on legitimate interests
- send your information to you or another provider in a portable format
- withdraw consent or opt out of statistics at any time (for cookies, use Cookie settings in the site footer)
Contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.

Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser storage) are small pieces of information saved on your device. We use only a few. Google Analytics runs unless you switch it off, and Microsoft Clarity runs only if you accept it.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner explains the cookies we use. Accept and Reject are equally easy. Items marked “Statistics” below run unless you click Reject, because the law allows statistics used only to improve a website without prior consent, as long as you can opt out. Items marked “Analytics (consent)” run only if you click Accept. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

Third-party services
Some pages load content from other providers, who may receive your IP address when your browser fetches it: Google Fonts (text styling), Google reCAPTCHA (form security), Google Maps Places (address lookup on the EV quote form) and Checkatrade (review widget). Their own privacy policies apply.
Turning cookies off in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop our forms from working.
