What happens after I enquire
We’ll request photos, discuss your needs, and issue an estimate. A final site visit may be required before issuing a confirmed quote and booking a date.

What kind of electrical work do you carry out?
We specialise in domestic electrical services including full and partial rewires, fuse board upgrades, socket and lighting installations, garden lighting, fault finding, and more. We do not offer commercial services.

Are you a registered electrician?
Yes, we are fully qualified, insured, and registered with governing bodies for domestic electrical work in the UK.

Do you provide certificates for the work carried out?
Yes, all notifiable work is certified, and where required, registered with your local authority

Can I get a quote before booking a job?
Absolutely. We offer free, no-obligation quotes tailored to your specific job requirements.

How long will the work take?
Simple tasks may take under an hour, while larger jobs like rewires or consumer unit replacements will take longer. We’ll provide a clear estimate at quoting stage.

Do you work evenings or weekends?
We generally operate Monday to Friday, but evening or weekend appointments may be arranged upon request.

What types of EV chargers do you install?
We install a range of home EV chargers from top brands including Hypervolt, Zappi, Ohme, and more, tailored to your vehicle and property.

What’s included in a standard EV charger installation?
Our standard install includes:
Up to 15 metres of cable from your consumer unit to charger
Up to 2 cable routing drill holes
Installation on a suitable wall near your parking space -
Can I get an EV charger grant?
Yes, eligible home-owners, landlords, and flat owners can benefit from the OZEV grant. We’re registered to help you apply and install approved chargers.

Do I need to upgrade my fuse board or supply?
Not always. We assess your electrical system to ensure it’s suitable. If an upgrade is needed, we include it in your quote. We also coordinate with your DNO (Distribution Network Operator) if approval or unlooping is required.

How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed within one working day.

Where can the charger be mounted?
We install chargers in driveways, garages, side walls, or on posts (where needed). We ensure it’s installed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulations.

What Photos Do I Need to Upload for an EV Quote?
To help us prepare a detailed estimate, please upload the following clear photos:
Consumer Unit (Fuse Board): Clearly showing breakers, labels, and RCD/MCB markings.
Main Cut-Out Fuse: Showing any labels (e.g. 60A) on or around the fuse.
Electric Meter: Photo of your electricity meter and surrounding setup.
Overall Setup Location: Wide shot of your electrical setup (fuse board, meter, cut-out) or individual photos if components are spread out.
Earthing Arrangement (if visible): This helps identify if your system is TT, TNS or TN-C-S.
Charger Location: Photo of where you’d like the charger installed (e.g. garage wall, driveway wall).These photos allow us to pre-assess feasibility, space, and compliance before a final survey.

Do I need off-street parking?
Yes, ideally. Off-street parking simplifies the process. On-street installs may need council permission and a cross-pavement solution like ChargeArm or Kerbo Charge.

What if I don’t own the property?
You’ll need written permission from your landlord or managing agent before proceeding.

Is internet connectivity required?
Yes. A strong Wi-Fi or 4G signal at the charger location is essential to enable smart charging, comply with 2021 regulations, and avoid cyber vulnerabilities.
